The company is an Israel-based tour operator. They operate as a wholesaler and is involved in the provision of flights to and from Israel. They specialize in customize travels deals suitable for the Israeli market, offering travel packages for individuals and groups, focusing on flights, package deals, cruises, sport deals etc.
As a comprehensive service provider in the field of tourism, the company constantly develops new packages and destinations. The purpose of the campaign was to promote a new destination- Lapland, raise awareness to the destination in general and create demand for new organized trips within the target audience.
What We Did
To meet the client’s goals and create ads, we have promoted an activity that included advertising across all top platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, the Google Display Network and Tabula) using video ads, banner ads and content articles to create demand and harvesting demand with search ads on Google. The target audience included families looking for a bar / bat mitzvah destinations, travelers who love to ski and extreme sports, and Frequent travelers looking for new destinations to travel to.
We promoted YouTube videos of Lapland to snowbound travelers, similar people who already read our articles about Lapland, etc.
We posted off-page articles about Lapland in collaboration with top Israeli travel blogs.
We put banners on Google Display Network – targeting different in-market and costume intent audiences with specific tailored messages depending on the segment targeted (families, extreme travel lovers etc). As well as video ads and carousels on Facebook and Instagram.
We can see that the demand for Lapland was flat before we launched the awareness campaigns. After the launch, the demand increased as the campaign progressed – 35,152 Impressions vs. 78,113 impressions = +122%
